About

A practice, in private.

Hi, I'm Lexxi. Studio Lovelle is the studio I always wanted to be a client of.

Studio Lovelle interior

I came to Pilates the long way around. After a decade in dance and another in physical therapy clinics, I kept seeing the same thing: people moving through generic class formats designed for the average body — which is no body at all.

Pilates is, at its heart, a deeply individual practice. The reformer was built for one body at a time. So I built a studio for that.

Studio Lovelle is private by design. There's no group cap, no schedule jockeying, no “keep up”. Every session begins with a check-in: how is your body today, what does it need? And the next 55 minutes are built around that answer.

The result is a practice that doesn't just feel good in the moment — it changes how you sit at your desk, how you carry your kids, how you sleep.

Philosophy

How I teach.

Slow before strong. Breath before reps. The hardest part of a Pilates session isn't the spring tension — it's the attention.

I cue lightly, watch carefully, and modify constantly. If something feels wrong, we change it. The work is supposed to feel intelligent.

When I'm not in the studio…

You'll find me hiking the BeltLine with my dog, drinking too much coffee at Octane, or curled up with a Mary Oliver poem. I think movement is everywhere — Pilates is just the part with springs.
